BILLING
Charges for all in-patients will be as per the package selected. In case a package is not selected, individual rates as per the bed/class of room will be applicable. Charges for all hospital services, excluding medicines and consumables, will vary based upon the room type.
Reservation & Cancellation
- Reservation: Confirmed against advance payment of the total booking amount.
- Cancellation: Free cancellation is permitted if done at least 30 days prior to arrival. Otherwise, 50% of the reservation amount will be charged.
Insurance / Corporate Patients
Rs. 5000/- is taken for non-medical items not covered by TPAs. Patients must sign a consent letter stating that if the TPA/company denies payment, the patient will pay in full and resolve the issue with the TPA.
Package Charges
Package charges include:
- Accommodation
- Patient food charges
- Treatment charges
- Prescribed medicine
- Consumables and disposables used during stay
- Doctor and nurse charges
- Physical therapy charges
- Access to facilities
Any deviation from package items will be charged extra. Investigation charges, procedure/surgery charges, pharmacy bills, consumables, fruits, diet of relative, and any other services availed will also be charged extra. Facilities like laundry, extra meals, beverages, pick & drop in city are chargeable.
Room Upgrade / Downgrade
Patients may request to downgrade or upgrade room type based on availability:
- Downgrade: Rate of lower bed type will apply from the day of downgrade.
- Upgrade: All rates of upgraded class will apply from day 1 of admission.
Deposit & Provisional Billing
- 25% deposit of expected amount at the time of admission. This deposit will be adjusted during final billing.
- Provisional bills will be issued during the patients stay for additional payments. Payment must be made as per the provisional bill date.
- Final bill is issued at discharge after completing all formalities. Differences between provisional and final bills may occur due to additional charges.
- Final settlement of all bills is mandatory before discharge.
Billing Cycle
24-hour billing cycle: Room charges are levied for each 24-hour period from the time & date of admission.
- Up to 8 hours of stay: Billed as Half Day Stay
- More than 8 hours: Billed as Full Day Stay
- At discharge: 2-hour grace period without additional charges
IP Consultation Policy
- Admitting doctor: Max 2 IP visits/day + 1 emergency visit per consultant per patient in 24 hours.
- ICU/Recovery: 2 visits for admitting doctor + 2 visits for intensivist per day will be charged.
- Visiting consultant charges: As per visit.
- Night emergency (9:00 PM to 8:00 AM): 50% additional charges.
- If the consultant is present in the hospital, no extra charge for emergency reference (except normal tariff).
Other Charges
Taxes will be charged as applicable by government notifications. Hospital charges and rules are subject to change as decided from time to time.
