IPD SERVICES

Registration

  • Every patient who wishes to avail services at Medayu Hospitals and Clinics needs to be registered.
  • Carry a valid photo ID (Aadhaar, PAN, Driving License, etc.) for registration.
  • A QR code will be issued upon completion for seamless hospital access.

Pre-Admission

  • Admission initiated upon consultant recommendation.
  • Submit Admission Request Form to reserve room (allocation subject to availability).
  • Reservation payment: Rs 10,000/- (refundable within 30 days).
  • Insurance pre-approval assistance available if needed.
  • Only one attendant allowed if required; single occupancy room must be selected.

Admission

  • In-patient registration done on arrival; bed allotted.
  • Patient and legal kin must sign consent forms.
  • Deposit: 25% of expected charges (non-refundable, adjusted against reservation payment).
  • Ward orientation and reassessment by RMO, including tests if necessary.
  • Daily routine: ward rounds, treatment/procedure, medication, meals, visiting hours, bedtime.
  • Patients must remain within hospital premises until discharged by doctor.

What to Carry

  • Medical records: X-Rays, MRI, health histories, prescriptions, immunization records.
  • Current medications.
  • Comfortable clothes and footwear.

What NOT to Carry

  • Jewellery & valuable items, large amounts of cash (safety not guaranteed).
  • Responsibility for eyeglasses, hearing aids, dentures lies with patient.
  • Sharps, weapons, and inflammable items are strictly prohibited.

Meals & Conduct

  • Patient meals as prescribed; hospital serves balanced vegetarian meals.
  • Attendant meals available on chargeable basis.
  • Standard meals: Tea/Coffee, Breakfast, Lunch, Fruits, Dinner.
  • Alcohol, smoking, drugs, chewing gum, and spitting are strictly prohibited.
  • Hospital under CCTV surveillance; accurate info on allergies and habits requested.

Discharge & Follow-Up

  • Discharge initiated on consultant recommendation after clearing dues.
  • Patient receives detailed discharge summary, follow-up treatment plan, daily routine diet, and medical prescription.
  • Physical copies of pending reports will be emailed or couriered as per preference.
  • Ensure to carry all medical records brought during admission.

Visitors Information

  • One attendant may stay with the patient 24X7 with an attendant pass.
  • Other visitors allowed only during visiting hours: 5:00 PM - 7:00 PM for inpatient rooms.
  • Patient medical records and condition are confidential; shared only with patient and next-of-kin.
  • Immediate family members may approach reception desk to arrange convenient time to meet consultant if needed.
